Dr. Robin I. Shecter, Board Certified Dermatologist has locations in both Lake Worth and Boynton Beach, Florida. Patients can take advantage of Dr. Shecter's blend of not only dermatology, but also dermatologic surgery but aesthetic and cosmetic services as well.
Dr. Shecter, while in her dermatology residence, helped author many articles for publication. One of her lectures has received the Koprince award, given at the meeting of the National Dermatologic Association. Along with her specialized procedures, Dr. Shecter provides patients a physician approved skin care program. Patients can take advantage of specially formulated products for skin care.
Professional Affiliations:
Dr. Shecter has many professional affiliations in the Dermatology field, including the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the American Academy of Dermatology. She also is professionally affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Osteopathic College of Family Practice.
Dr. Shecter received her undergraduate degree at the State University of New York. She was not only a Dean’s List member but also received a scholarship for the Master of Science Program in Science Education at Syracuse University.
Dr. Shecter received her doctorate in medicine from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. During her studies there, she received multiple honors. She performed her Osteopathic Rotating Internship in Hialeah, Florida at Palmetto General Hospital.
Dr. Shecter completed her Family Practice residency at Palmetto General Hospital as well. Prior to opening her Dermatology service, she practiced in Sunrise, Florida for almost three years as a board certified family physician. She not only completed her Residency in Dermatology at the Wellington Regional Medical Center, she stayed on as a faculty member of the program once she finished.
